FIRST WOMEN'S CONGRESS IN ACANCEH: A SPACE FOR AWARENESS, PREVENTION, AND SUPPORT

We held the First Women's Congress in Acanceh, organized by CEFIM with the support of the City Council of Acanceh, Forja, the Jorge Marín and Javier Marín Foundations, Fundación Compartamos, and Mujer Mexicana A.C.

More than 150 women participated in this space aimed at strengthening female autonomy through awareness, prevention, and support. The conferences addressed fundamental topics such as emotional codependency, self-love, violence prevention, support networks, self-care, and tools to identify and face risk situations.

The congress established itself as a gathering for listening, learning, and emotional strengthening, reaffirming the commitment of these institutions to continue promoting programs that protect, inform, and support women in the region of Yucatán, Mexico.
