Project: Nezahualcóyotl School in Cuautitlán, State of Mexico

Throughout 2023, the Jorge Marín Foundation will be collaborating with the Nezahualcóyotl School in Cuautitlán, through artistic activities.
Since March, different artistic projects have been carried out, such as the sculpture workshop so that boys and girls become familiar with the concept of three-dimensionality in art. In addition, they are taught how to sculpt, showing them the work of Jorge Marín as a reference so that they become familiar with his work, mainly with the sculpture El vigilante, which is relatively close to this school.
We also carried out the Public Sculpture Workshop in Mexico City, which included a guided tour to the Memory and Tolerance Museum, so that students, through the different sculptural installations, become aware of the importance of non-violence, memory and human rights.
Creativity workshops will be held every month to incorporate art and sensitivity in the current stage of educational life.
